- Service Agreement
All services provided by Cuttin Roots Woodworks are based on confirmed project specifications, material selection approval, and agreed design direction.
Custom woodworking production begins only after the client’s confirmation of project requirements.
- Custom Woodworking Characteristics
Wood is a natural material. Variation in grain pattern, color tone, texture, and surface appearance is expected.
These natural characteristics are not considered product defects.
Hardwood furniture and specialty wood projects are constructed to support structural performance and functional use under normal conditions.
- Order Confirmation and Payment Requirements
Project orders become active after the design agreement and payment arrangement, when required.
Deposit payments may be requested before production begins.
Project scheduling depends on workload capacity, material preparation time, and design complexity.
Failure to complete payment obligations may result in project suspension or cancellation.
- Design and Specification Changes
Client-requested changes after production has started may result in additional cost, extended timeline, or material adjustment.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving design specifications before construction begins.
- Client Responsibility for Measurements
Clients must provide accurate spatial measurements and functional requirements.
The business is not responsible for project outcomes resulting from incorrect or incomplete client information.
- Production Timeline
Completion schedules are estimated rather than guaranteed.
Custom woodworking involves material preparation, assembly, and finishing processes that may vary depending on project complexity and material behavior.
Environmental factors such as humidity and temperature may influence natural wood properties.
- Delivery, Pickup, and Installation
Delivery or pickup arrangements are determined during project coordination.
Installation may be performed by the client or arranged through agreed service methods.
The business is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation performed by unauthorized parties.
- Warranty and Liability Limitations
Products are built for functional and structural performance under normal use conditions.
The business is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, environmental exposure beyond standard conditions, unauthorized modification, or improper handling after delivery.
- Intellectual and Craft Ownership
Design concepts, construction methods, and project documentation remain the property of the owner unless a written transfer of rights is agreed upon.
- Communication Policy
Primary communication channels include email and phone contact.
Operational communication is maintained to support project execution.
- Governing Law
These terms follow commercial and business regulations applicable within North Carolina, United States.
